What areas do you service?
Shelton Field Services is based in Hamilton, VIC and operates across regional and remote areas. We’re equipped to travel and support field projects throughout the state.

How far can you travel?
We service areas up to 400 km from base. Jobs beyond that distance can be arranged depending on the service. Travel outside a 30 km radius is charged at $0.50/km.

Do I need to be present on-site?
Not always! For external-only jobs like roof inspections, mapping, or property photography, we can complete the work independently. For interior access or sensitive areas, we’ll coordinate a time that works for you.

How do I book a service?
You can email us directly, or give us a call. We'll confirm the details and schedule a job to suit your timeframe.

Do you offer hands on field work?

Yes—absolutely. Shelton Field Services offers a range of practical, on-the-ground services alongside our drone work. If your project needs more than just aerial footage, get in touch—we’re flexible and happy to build a solution that fits both your aerial and field support needs. 

Drone Services

What kind of drone services do you offer?
We offer aerial photography and videography, photogrammetry, asset inspection, and mapping — tailored for agriculture, mining, real estate, and marketing.

Can I use the footage for advertising?
Absolutely. All deliverables are provided license-free for your commercial use, whether it's for brochures, websites, or social media.

How long does it take to get my images or maps?
Most jobs are delivered within 3–5 business days. Need it faster? We offer express turnaround for an additional fee.

Can you fly near airports or restricted zones?
In many cases, no — unless prior approval is gained through CASA. We can advise you on what's possible and help apply for necessary clearances if needed.

What deliverables do I receive?
Depending on your project, you'll receive high-resolution imagery, processed video, or mapping files (JPEG, TIFF, MP4, or georeferenced formats) as well as physical printed imagery and custom maps. We'll tailor it to your needs.

Why use drones instead of traditional methods?
Drones are faster, safer, and more efficient. They access tricky or hazardous areas without the need for scaffolding, climbing, or expensive equipment. Better data, less risk.

Can you work in remote or off-grid locations?
Yes - we’re fully mobile and equipped for remote fieldwork. Our vehicle functions as a mobile command post with power and storage for all drone operations.
